A Goodyear resident, Shirley has a true love for people and animals, so its natural for her to enjoy painting them. Most of her work is done using pastels. She feels that by working more with her fingers than with a brush, she can be closer to the subject. She has been painting portraits for over twenty years. It pleases her to make people happy and to provide them with a meaningful item that can be passed down through the generations.
